Running Headlong into Destiny
Hold your horses… This is not a time to let things get out of control. Surrendering to the inevitable is one thing. Laying your heart on the line with trust in a greater plan is another. But far removed from that is throwing everything you care about, all that you’ve worked for, down the chute and running headlong into who-knows-what. Some part of you does know where you’re heading, and it’s very well aware of what you need to do to get there. A large part of that is trust, yes. Trust is fundamental. However, you are in the driver’s seat and you can gauge your momentum. Instead of running headlong, take a good look at what’s in front of you. After all, the journey is taken one step at a time. There’s another saying that this image brings to mind right now, one that many are applying with good measure to making needed changes to whatever system they’re working within: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” While this is absolutely applicable to what you face now, you run the risk of making things tougher than they need to be if you try to take on too much too fast. Trusting the road ahead, do what’s right in front of you. Get into the nitty-gritty that beckons you. Attend to the dust, the disorder, the debris that’s around. Are you willing to roll up your sleeves and bulldozer-like move through what you suddenly notice has been in your way? Take it in small steps. You’re on a fast-moving highway of transformation right now. Running headlong might seem like the way to move forward, but small adjustments, carefully taken, will at this moment refine your trajectory and bring you closer to your goal.
Paying attention to how you’re navigating is essential. Where are you obtaining your coordinates from? What is telling you which way the wind is blowing? Who are you listening to for insights into The Now? Everything you need is neatly packaged up within yourself. You don’t need any baggage. You don’t need external drivers. Monkeys on your back will only steer you wrong. Connect into your core navigational system and let the compass needle guide you. Whatever you stir up in getting to the heart of your mission is going to bring the light into a brighter, more effulgent glow. Remembering is going to be more efficient than guessing. Get yourself aligned now for when the breakthrough point opens suddenly ahead. You’ll be glad you readied for it.
